Safe and Sound

Shannon has arrived in Afghanistan safe and sound. She is going through orientation and will begin her clinical assignment soon. Her team is in temporary housing which is difficult. She is looking forward to moving into her permanent quarters, which are much closer to the Hospital, and actually unpacking her 480 lbs of gear. Shannon and Amy who she made friends with at Fort Dix have arranged to be roommates. Once they begin their assignments they will be on a 24hr on 24hr off work schedule.
