Quilts Of Valor
This is a wounded soldier being presented with his Quilt Of Valor by the ICU staff who have cared for him at Role 3. They have all signed it and the surgical team who took care of him will sign it as well. Pictured from left to right are LTJG Kelly Flock, LCDR Kona Denny, LTJG Marsh, CAPT Hagan, Bull Ensign Shannon and LTJG Amy Nowakowski.
These handmade quilts travel with the wounded to each medical facility where they receive treatment and are signed along the way by the medical personnel who care for them.

this is great, and what you all do is great. Thank you all for the service. unlikely you will bump into a friend of mine (hopefully not there as a client) but if you do say hi, his name is Xavier Ries. He was a Marine, Force Recon but is now a contractor.
