Shannon has been quite busy these past few days. They under went H.E.A.T rollover training. H.E.A.T stands for Humvee Egress Assistance Training, it is designed to teach soldiers to survive vehicle rollover accidents. The trainer is a truck cabin mounted on a motor that rotates 180 deg. As the vehicle begins to roll, the service members inside the cabin yell, Rollover! Rollover! Rollover! at that signal, they must release their seat belts and quickly assist the gunner to climb down from the vehicles turret into the cab. Shannon said it was hard but good training and a lot of fun. If you are interested in seeing more there are some videos on You-Tube.
